Oakland is claimed as one of the busiest streets near the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus. Many students and residents roam this road in search of drug-store accommodations, hair salon necessities and the most important reason: TO SATISFY HUNGER!

Jimmy Johns serves submarine sandwiches like no other! Their assembly line system allows for a speedy process. As a costumer, I found myself baffled by how quickly my sandwich was prepared and handed to me. Once you've placed your order, a trade is instantly made between money and the finished sub. All that's left is for you to be on your way to enjoying a delicious, made-to-order sandwich.
How about some noodles?
Noodles & Company gives many options as to what type of noodle a customer wants and allows for an ethnicity choice between foods. One can pick an American style Macaroni and Cheese, or you try for a Mediterranean dish of Pasta Fresca, (my personal favorite!) Order's are brought out promptly and taste as good as they look.
Why not try Greek?
Oakland Gyros takes you right into the land of pita and lamb. A true taste of Greece is brought right here to our Milwaukee streets and leaves a lasting impression on every visitor. Though one can partake in chicken or beef, you must at least give a try as to why this corner restaurant keeps people coming back for more.
